Crypto payment gateway with custodial wallets for a services marketplace

Challenge

An international services marketplace paid providers across dozens of countries: bank transfers took days, intermediary fees cut already-small payouts, and some countries were unreachable entirely.

Solution

We built a custodial circuit: every user gets an internal wallet, and an order payment splits automatically between the provider and the platform fee. Withdrawal to an external address takes 2 clicks with network-fee calculation. Keys live in protected storage with segregated access; the hot limit is minimal, large amounts require multi-signature. A full operations journal supports reconciliation.

Result

Cross-border payout costs dropped 80%; providers receive money in minutes, not days. The platform opened recruitment in countries it physically couldn’t pay before — the provider base grew by a third.
