Agency system integration with state registries via the government service bus

Challenge

An agency system delivered services that required data from federal registries: staff sent inter-agency requests by hand and waited days for answers. Regulated deadlines cracked, and citizens carried paper certificates the agency could have obtained itself.

Solution

We connected the system to the government service bus: designed and approved the data-exchange types, built request-response adapters with e-signature, and queues with guaranteed delivery and retries. Registry responses attach to the case file automatically and trigger the next step of the regulation. The circuit passed security certification, and every exchange is logged with legal significance.

Result

Six data types now arrive in minutes instead of five days of waiting — regulated service deadlines are met with room to spare. Citizens stopped carrying certificates the state can request from itself. The solution was replicated by a neighboring department without our involvement — using the handed-over documentation.
