The task
An electronics store with 12,000 SKUs hit the mobile-traffic economics wall: retargeting kept getting pricier while the mobile site converted half as well as desktop. Loyal buyers needed the shortest path: open — order, no logins, no card entry.
The solution
A React Native app running on the same ERP as the website: shared stock and prices, nothing duplicated. One-tap payment with a saved card, order history, a repeat-order button. Pushes became free retargeting: an abandoned cart gets a reminder in 2 hours and a promo code in a day; a price drop on a wishlisted item fires an instant notification.
The result
The app converts three times better than the mobile site: saved data removed the main friction. Six months in, 31% of revenue flows through the app, and pushes save 18% of abandoned carts — the job retargeting used to be paid for.
